Resident storyteller and lead artist
Over the past 45 years Dez has been a musician, a visual artist and a
storyteller. He has thirty years experience of working in schools
and community settings and founded the museum and website in 1998.
Ali has a raft of qualications and years of experience which make her a
safe pair of hands for administering the Charity's work, but somehow she
still finds the time to bring something artistic to the mix.

Jake began storytelling at the age of 15 and soon won the title Under 18 Young Storyteller of the Year, a title he took again two years later.
In 2014 Jake became the overall title-holder "Young Storyteller of the Year" and used it as a launchpad for a career as a professional storyteller.
All of our Advisory Team did work experience with Mythstories and have worked and/or volunteered with the charity ever since.
Now they lend their expertise in storytelling and other areas to the management team whenever called upon, and notably sometimes unprompted.
All four are founder members and hold posts in NOYS (the National Organisation of Young Storytellers).
