Exhibit Of The Month 48

Three in one

A recent acquisition gave us three dolls in one; Little Red Riding Hood, Granny and a very evil looking Big Bad Wolf who had either lost an eye or was pretending to be Granny playing pirates with an eye patch.

Dating back to the 1960's these popular "topsy-turvy" dolls were regularly used in storytimes in schools and libraries and still hold a fascination for our visitors today.

We now have two in our handling collection, one donated by storyteller Amy Douglas, the other more recent donation pictured here from ex headteacher Jude Willerton. Thank you both!
