Storytelling in the Archivezone

The Away With Words storytelling group as part of a project funded by the Heritage Lottery Young Roots programme worked with material from Shropshire Archives to create their stories of Victorian Wellington.

Club facilitator, Ali Quarréll of Mythstories recorded the creative process and two of these stories are now resources for teachers on the archivezone website hosted by Shropshire Archives.

These resources give an insight into how storytelling can bring archive material to life within the English curriculum.
